Gamecritics writes: "Thankfully, with their powers combined, the sister modes of the game conspire to lift it above its shortcomings and transform it into a worthwhile, if scatterbrained, experience. In my world, Chronicles as an offline-only experience doesn't even exist. The two modes of the game are so utterly co-dependent that, despite my enthusiasm for it, I would actually recommend against playing this game without an internet connection. I'm tempted to use the old chocolate-in-my-peanut-butter metaphor to summarize White Knight Chronicles, but that doesn't really tell the whole story. It's more like chalk-in-my-gruel, except the result is magically delicious."

I hope this one was better then the last one. It wasn't that bad of a game, but i kind of had high hopes
It's pretty damn cool actually, plus it comes with most of the first one anyway. :)
This game is def with the sickness!! I was totally waiting for this to come out for way too long! It rocks!!!
COIN-OP TV interview with Miki Takahashi one of the Producers on White Knight Chronicles II. This interview explores the differences between the original game and the sequel and also explains what upgrades went into the localization of the license.
Robert you're covering JRPGs now? Have you been talking to TechGaming's Deagle or what?
BTW- Thanks for the interview. May have to pick this one up.
I'm definitely getting this game. WKC by no means perfect but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.
i enjoyed the first one a lot even though it wasnt perfect. i still have my save file, but i think imma start over since part 2 battle system will be in part 1. this is awesome news to me.
thx for the comments/checking out the video -- feel free to share on your blogs/twitter
Level-5′s MMORPG for the PS3 may not have been a runaway success like other system exclusives but the White Knight Chronicles series has accumulated a loyal following. According to Sony the franchise has managed to garner 1 million shipments worldwide with over half of those sales credited to Japan.
these is great to hear since the sequel is coming soon to america and europe ( and its already out in japan)
average game IMO.
Story is simplistic..and same old rescue the princess..
the game It could be better. However, it's still a "ok" game.
I have it right now.
Haven't played it in a few days. Kinda got bored after fighting the giant wolf demon lady thing. lol.
But I'll start playing again soon. I get the same feeling from this like when I played blue dragon.
congratz to Sony and especially Level 5 on their milestone.
I'm looking forward to their sequel here in America.
Title should read: White Knight Chronicles Franchise Has Only Sold 1 Million Worlwide!
Pretty poor for a having 4 games under it's belt. I have never played it and apparently most other gamers haven't either. I was excited before it launched because the PS3 didn't have many RPG's until I read reviews and watched videos of the boring ass combat. I'll pass on this series.
Its so funny how every review for this game is pretty much crap, yet everyone in the game compares it to the greats. Phantasy Star Online
(not Universe) but with a sick 30 foot super soldier in the mix with no online fees, greatest graphics in MMO's for any console, great old school story and gameplay, the truest form of jrpg this gen. Screw the reviews, play it for yourself and see. Especially if you liked Xenogears
Well just got my copy exchanged hopefully this will fix the freeze issues that I was previously having. I guess it's not as wide spread since no other reviewers are listing it as a problem.
8/10 in my books, great game already beat it , and about to finish NG+.
Game is awesome, i've been playing fatal frame 1 & 4 lately but i haven't forgot about wkc. I'm currently at greede.
game is great in my opinion , im so glad i bought it , i think im halfway through the story , loving it so far but to each their own , well im out to play some more White Knight then my usual MAG game every night before i go to sleep , VALOR FTW!!!
