Funcom has told CVG that Age Of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is still in development for Xbox 360.

The game was hugely dissapointing at launch but Funcom have most certainly done some good work improving it. By no means is it a must-by but its certainly a solid MMO now. Be interesting to see if the 360 version has the expansion content already in there.

probobly DLCs one would think they would release the full game as soon as they can but upcoming expansions and patches probobly make it hard for the 360 team.

or maybe thats the reason they havent released the 360 version because they are adding and working on porting the PC content that is constantly coming out to 360 version

It makes me wonder cos Square Enix managed to release there first MMO on PC, PS2 and 360 with FFXI and there all cross platform with no problem. How the hell can they not have done it by now cos someone has already done it with another game.

There is all of this hate because for one, it's N4G. Anything about the 360 gets hate from the PS3 fanboys here, and vice versa.

The other reason is because the only MMO people seem to care about is WoW for some strange reason, so they put down anything that isn't that game.

I haven't played AoC, so I don't know what it's like. I'm sure it's not as bad as everyone says, though. It still won't sell very well on consoles, no matter how good it is. No one purchases a console to play MMO's.

That game stunk pretty badly. The PC version is basically dead. The community started off strong. Then it just died slowly and everyone went back to WoW.

The makers of Champions Online told the press 'Microsoft' is holding back the release of the X360 version.
I think they holding back Age Of Conan as wel.Don't know wy they do it but it's an official statement.
I think we r going to play a console MMO faster on the PS3 (DC online) and this game is going to be free to play.
I'm not going to pay for a mediocre console MMO on the X360 with a free to play MMO on the PS3.

The reason you play a MMO is for the Social part of the game.
im a PC gamer so im not saying that i like the 360 or PS3 more

what im trying to say is that consoles doesnt have keyboards
(or do they correct me if im wrong)
wich makes the comunication slugish compared to the PC

But then theres VOIP and how do you solve a
LFG/General/zone/Trade chat with that

if they can get past those problems im sure it would be great to play...

but even then the problem is people hate new stuff that they need to learn to be able to play and thats why many gamers walks back to the fully functioning game they played before

Keyboards can be used on consoles. The 360 and PS3 both have mini keyboards that can be put on the controllers as well.

There aren't any games that really use them, though. It's mainly just used to make sending messages easier. That's not to say that a developer couldn't implement it into a game if needed. So an MMO is pretty doable on a console, but the market for those kinds of games just isn't there.

I forgot that you can use a keyboard on Little Big Planet, and I should mention you can use them on Home as well. So some games are putting them to use for those without a mic.

focus on the 360 version of The Secret World. THAT actually looks like a worthwhile MMO. If they keep focusing on this bad MMO arriving way to late for people to care and then the cycle will continue with alll of their future games.

Paying to play a MMO on a console is the kiss of death....I dont understand whats the idea here....we already pay to play online and charging for something that should be free will be the death kneel for any console mmo. Playing a mmo on a console will feel like we are not getting the whole experience that pc gamers will be receiving...Final fantasy was a bust for a console mmo...why dont they see that.
