PSLS: With online gameplay becoming an increasingly integral part of console games, the time and effort spent creating the framework and lobby system for a game takes away crucial development time that could be better focused on the actual game. The RakNet networking engine provides this multiplayer framework ready made, thus allowing for developers to spend extra time perfecting their title. To learn more about the engine, as well how the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Network compare to their counterparts, PlayStation LifeStyle interviewed Kevin Jenkins, the founder and President of Jenkins Software in an exclusive and in-depth interview.

RALEIGH, NC –December 4, 2012– Gamebase USA, a subsidiary of Gamebase Co. Ltd., announced today it has integrated RakNet networking technology into Gamebryo 4.0, the latest version of its industry-leading game engine.
“We are excited to add RakNet to the Gamebryo framework. The RakNet C++ networking integration is one of the many ways we continue to enhance Gamebryo,” said Gabriel Liberty, Technical Director at Gamebase USA.
Yuck. Sorry, but can anyone tell me a game that people didn't groan about after finding out it was on Gamebryo? It's a buggy, ugly, outdated engine now and was outdated as soon as every version came out.
*sigh* Hate this damn engine.
Interesting interview. I'll admit..the Wheel of Fortune online play is pretty darn good! I know this because I watch my Wife play..*cough cough*
Great interview! I might just go look at their Indie license for the PC...
