Capcom UK has poured cold water on reports that the Wii's Monster Hunter Tri will get a PSP version, saying, "This is a rumour."
Capcom UK spokesman Leo Tan was sceptical, telling Eurogamer: "If Capcom was to announce a new Monster Hunter Portable game, the chances of its first appearance in any magazine other than Famitsu are pretty slim".
What's the best Monster Hunter of all time? In a series where half of the titles have the word 'Ultimate' fixed on the end, it can be a difficult decision to make. NL are not averse to difficult decisions though, so have taken it upon theirselves to rank every single Monster Hunter game (yes, even the non-Nintendo ones) to determine which is the very best.
First world problems all up in here, but that makes this gaming dilemma no less stressing.
The third generation of Monster Hunter drags the series back to western shores because well, why not? In fact you could say that three really has been the magic number. Unless you live in Japan in which case one and two were also pretty fantastic and if anything three has been nothing short of a crushing disappointment.
‘But wait!’ Voletic hears you scream, ‘Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has been recently announced, why are you addressing the third iteration?’ Because background knowledge is a beautiful thing and Voletic has a word count to fill.
My problem with MH is the slow paced and plain combat system, if they make it more dynamic count me in.
They need a full console release, launch the CryEngine one for PC for PS4/XO. And make sure to bring it stateside.
This Gamewave thing is the equivalent to the Star Fox Wii ONM (or was it Nintendo Power?) cover, then?
I really would not be surprised at all to see Monster Hunter Tri Portable come out. Capcom knows it will sell really well. So why not bring out another Monster Hunter game on the PSP. So even though Capcom says Famitsu would have got the news first may be that is true. But Gamewave jumped the gun. So I think there will be MHTP and I can't wait to try it. Because even if this rumor is not true now. I do think Capcom is thinking about bringing the game out on the PSP. Just that it will come out later not at the end of the year like Gamewave says.
buy that... DAY ONE PURCHASE
buy it
Considering the fact that Monster hunter Tri was released on Wii I would guess its far more likely for Monster hunter portable/freedom 3 to appear than not to.
At least from what I have seen from the trailers the wii version is not much of an improvement over Psp MH games, and its still filled with the same crazy amount loading times.
