If this new AvP were like a grapefruit, and you were like the Dole Fruit Company, you would probably buy it only for use in juicing, not to be eaten on its own, as it just doesn't have enough meat. And by "buy it only for use in juicing" GameSpy means you probably wouldn't buy it at all, because it isn't very good.
In the first part of our series we took a look at the inception of horror games. Now we delve deeper and see how they evolved throughout the decades.
"Ever since Xbox One backward compatibility was announced, gamers have been asking for a few high-profile games. While the majority of requests revolve around the Call of Duty franchise, the Aliens and Sonic franchises have been other hot series. Today, Microsoft announced that Aliens vs. Predator, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, and Sonic Unleashed are now backward compatible."
Kingdoms of Amalur was brilliant. Never did get a sequel because all the crap that happened after with the IP.
It looks as though the 2010 first person shooter, Aliens vs Predator might become a Xbox Backwards Compatible title soon based on its revamped Xbox Store product page.
Been playing the shit out of it on PS3. Hopefully this gives the game another lease of life. Such an underrated game imho.

WTF......these 2x4 companies have no idea what there talking about
im taking all these mediocre reviews on the chin for now, cos while i accept every game has its problems to be criticised, ign gave it 8.5, OPSM australia gave it 9, and i have always loved the marine/aliens universe ever since alien trilogy, and as such, im gonna be optimistic and pick this up on friday...
play the game for yourself.....just because they dont like it doesnt mean u wont
Its excellent. If you liked the previous two on PC (and to a lesser extent, the Jaguar version) you will love it.
Grapefruit?
Sifting through these reviews for AvP is like peeling an onion: First skin equals 'good review', next layer says it's crap and so it goes on.
Just shows you how pointless reviews ultimately are; If a game is genuinely, absolutely "bad" you'd think everyone would say the same thing. I'm still leaning towards getting AvP, simply because I enjoyed the others so much and that too many people are contradicting the low scores.
