Project Natal makes a Smallville cameo, does not guarantee ability to fly*

We didn't get any more details about Microsoft's Project Natal add-on for Xbox 360 from the X10 event, but tonight Smallville viewers got to watch someone else whipping their arms and legs around trying to catch imaginary balls flying out of their TV screen.

you dont like American comic books? Smallville is a Great show the show got a 2hours Episode coming out With Green lantern and other Cameos of superheroes.

cant hate on that.

Baka-akaB5203d ago (Edited 5203d ago )

hum many comics fan hate smallville for good reasons . It's closer to something like dawson's creek with powers than really the original comics . Wich is ok , but dont ask and believe that you're bond to enjoy it .

it's only midly related despite the late effort in the few last seasons to include some sort of Justice league .

You'd be pissed if someone told you "how can you can hate dragon ball the movie if you like the manga ?"

I really can't wait to see what Sony does with their Wiimote.

thesummerofgeorge5203d ago

I think it's safe to say most comic book fans/enthusiasts aren't big fans of Smallville.

Blaze9295203d ago

This is Microsoft Marketing 101 for you. They are really serious about launching Natal and it will definitely be big. Already marketing it on TV Shows, Good Morning America, Late Night TV all months before it even has an official name.

IdleLeeSiuLung5203d ago (Edited 5203d ago )

I can't wait for Natal so please have some good games. Heck, if it fails I guess I can have a remoteless remote on the 360!

Bottom line is, Natal can make you fly!

ABizzel15203d ago

Wow the camera is a lot bigger than I thought, and unfortunately it's the same old demo, we've seen before.

On another note Smallville sucks now, it was good when it started, but it dragged on FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR to long.

Saaking5203d ago

I haven't watched Smallville since Season 5. It took a downward spiral during Season 6 and it never really recaptured my interest. IMO, it' s lasted way too long.

sonarus5203d ago

OMG wow that looks so fun. It looks retarded but the fact that it is fun jumping around like an idiot makes me forget this

Natal is the next evolution of gaming. Now we can all look like idiots when we play hooray

ChozenWoan5203d ago

... again.

At 12-16 seconds into the video you will notice that both the screen and his body is both in the screen. He swings a powerful downward swipe with his right arm and half of his body. On the screen it shows him standing still with both arms up. At no point in the game does his body movement and those of the game match up, not even if you factor in a 1-2 sec delay.

FAKE!!!

have a nice day.

I love comic books, I appreciate Smallville, from time to time. All I do is think of it like this; there are so many realities in the DC multi-verse Smallville sort of plays on each of them, it's not accurate but the fact that there so many different realities allows it to slide by in my book, from time to time. It's kind of like Earth-Prime, where Super-boy Prime is or was. It's getting more complex this season.

has become a giant M$ commercial this season. All of Chloe's computers have the windows logo and she also uses Surface in a couple of scenes.

ATi_Elite5203d ago

better than every Hollywood movie they use a MAC book.

Lou Ferrigno5203d ago

bone, your so right man.. everyone in hollywood usses nothing but macs and it gets irritating after a while lol.. dont get me wrong i personally love macs to a certain extent but damn!

a change is allways nice :)

Sano645203d ago

thats true but people never complain when you see apple logo's all over the place

N4BmpS5202d ago

True I could really careless if it's MS even though I don't like the XBOX360 like that, I get tired of seeing Apple everywhere since I don't like their products at all.

This show just proved how absolutely stupid you look when using Natal.

we won5204d ago (Edited 5204d ago )

Opposed to sitting with other people hunched over with a Pad in your hand? Poor PS3 fanboy, it doesn't look any sillier than playing Wii or using PS3 wand lol.

D4RkNIKON5203d ago

It's true, natal requires a lot of space to work and will not work well in small spaces as it needs to see your entire body. Also the lack of buttons and precision make it hard to imagine playing the games we are used to like first person shooters. The PS wand thing will work like the wii, you can sit on the couch if you want and use it like a pointer instead of standing up flailing about.

feelintheflow5203d ago

You need a big room for games like dodgeball or whatever they call it, some games like when they showed burnout you just need to be sitting down. So I am not sure what your talking about. I am sure it is going to be like the wii, party games, some serious games. You need a lot of room for wii sports, and you swing your arms around for that as well, but none of that nonsense for mario galaxy.

I just love how everyone thinks every game for it will have you flailing around like an idiot. I play the wii, and trust me I don't flail around like I am having an epileptic seizure. Please try and wait until we see some actual games before your fanboy goggle get put on.

lowcarb5204d ago

I actually saw the episode and thought it was a repeat show.

infamousinfolite5203d ago

Honestly I did not know that that was NATAL the fact that she said "xbox" instead of "360" threw me off.
