The "Ultimate Team" mode began with FIFA Soccer 09 and has been imported to Madden NFL 10 already. Now, a new and improved version is making its way to FIFA Soccer 10, possibly proving that EA Sports is really on to something. Of course, fans of fantasy sports and sports-card collectors have known this for years, but the improvements in the new Ultimate Team mode for FIFA 10 are advancing the concept quite a bit further than it was taken before.

Last year EA already arrived with a large expansion pack for FIFA 10 called Ultimate Team and also this year they're planning to get some DLC out. Ultimate Team is a new mode within the game with seperate competitions and tournaments. You can also put together your team to your own liking, need to keep an eye on your players' contracts and attributes. Not much new you might think...
