It's just a different creature from Oleg Maddox's sacrosanct sim series. While there's a very serious simulation in here, WoP is primarily built around its Arcade mode. Think HAWX, but set in the '40s and with propellers. It's more about accurate machinegunning than being a hotshot pilot, and even then it'll help you keep a bead on the bogies with its all-knowing radars, targeting assistance and option to sic your small squadron of expert allies onto them with a button press.

Gaijin Entertainment has released a new update for its WWII aerial simulation game Wings of Prey, available now for owners of the title on Steam. The patch brings a new matchmaking system to the game, along with a list of other additions, fixes and improvements.
I bought this for £5 off Steam last week, its not bad but its a bit too arcadey for my tastes.
You can fly past a wave of bombers and shoot 8 of them down with one pass, its too easy. The graphics are great though, much better than Cliffs Of Dover.
