Still, it seems S.T.A.L.K.E.R is the best of the franchise =/

this franchise has so much potential, I hope they really push the envelope next time!

Seems better than Clear Sky so I'm keen!

The first was definitley better than Clear Sky, but from the reviews on CoP, it sounds like its a big step forward, will be picking this up.

I just installed STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl yesterday but didn't get around to playing it. I have heard mixed things but I bought it anyway really cheap used. I have an older video card but it runs on max settings, which is good. I will have to give it a go today.

If you haven't already, be sure to patch it. Also, an article on here recently informed me of a mod that seem to improve on several things.

I've played the games several times through previously so this discovery prompted me back to to revisit the Zone. I do like some of the changes the mod made to the original game. It's a 600MB download and requires you to install the latest patch as well. Play through once and try the mod afterwards if interested.

I've played the russian version and the game is awesome, so many improvements to the gameplay, that should have been in SoC, it would have made it an absolute classic. Definitely a step up from the previous ones. I really hope they work hard on STALKER 2.

Still enjoying clear sky. I this game bought it day one but left it for a long time because of all the patches and forced restarts. I lost the disk when I moved from UK to US. Luckily I got another copy for $5 on steam. Can't wait for this one.

Quite possibly the best in the series so far. Well worth checking out!

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
