GameZone's Nick Akerman has published his second entry in his bi-weekly column covering the digital platforms of the PSN, XBLA, and WiiWare.
Akerman writes,
"Two weeks ago when I featured the charming NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits on the first ever AAA article, I mentioned that I'd be throwing some questions to an unsuspecting developer. Well, if you hadn't guessed, we have Over The Top Games' Roberto Alvarez de Lara on the column this week, one of the main men behind the WiiWare hit. He can be seen giving an insight into the world of independent game development below, while the rest of the column is jam-packed with enough arcade goodness to push your download limit towards bursting point. This week, Assassin's Creed II DLC 'The Battle of Forli is the first to step up to the mark."
GF365: "Oftentimes, video games have characters who are antagonistic and really not very pleasant. Here are some of the friendliest characters in games where you might not otherwise expect to find them."
This weekend from August 10-14, players can play for free Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations, Black Flag and Valhalla on Xbox, PlayStation and PC (availability dependent on platform).
GF365: "Most games are not perfect and that may be because of a character or an enemy. Here are 10 mediocre bosses in great games."
The Pursuer from Dark Spuls 2 was great, I think the author just sucks at games.
I like this roundup idea. Wish more games were mentioned though.
nice post
I hear what y'all sayin' yo.
Hmm, not heard of that KGB title, seems interesting. Huzzah for NyxQuest!
Who actually plays games on the Xbox Live Indie platform?
