Nintendo presents: New Style Boutique has launched today for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL. Players assume the role of an assistant in a fashion store and act as personal shopper for whoever walks through the door. As your customers’ happiness spreads new areas of the town open up for you to explore including the Hairdressers and the Photo Studio. This also unlocks more brands and new interior designs to give your boutique a unique look.
Style Boutique though addictively fun to play, does get let down at times: hints of romantic potential between you and Dominic, the store owner, never come to anything; you don't really experience the social events you are invited to (you're just treated to the Cliff notes); unless you can find other players of the game to interact with either locally or online then the game can soon become a lonely affair once you have reached the heavy heights of being the top of the fashion world. Yet for all that Style Boutique is still a superb girls' game, and far outranks much of the usual fodder that is showered on the pink market every year.
