On topic - Bioware deserves all the credit they are getting. I have only completed about 18 games since the xbox360 and PS3 era, here is my list to name a few:

Bioshock - Completed twice
Metal Gear Solid - Completed
Gears of War 1 & 2 - Completed
Modern Warfare 1 - completed - Could not complete MWF 2
kILLZONE 2 - Completed
Demon Soul - Currently playing - Will complete by tomorrow.
Resistance 2 -Completed
Saints Row 1 and 2 - Completed
Crack Down - Completed
Mass Effect - Completed Twice
Dragon Age -Completed
Left 4 dead 1 and 2 - Completed Twice
Halo 3 - Completed
Uncharted 2 - Completed
All the half life episodes - Completed Twice

And I have played hundreds of games but only completed the above cause the held my interest in the fun/story/Graphics department.

Mass Effect 2 will soon be added to that list. Thanks Bioware!!!!

Hopefully the Mass Effect trilogy makes it to the PS3 some day, my reason for this is because I like to play RPG games on my PS3 because I like to play for hours and shooters / online on my 360.

Mass Effect 2 is also on PC, and if I may add, the PC version is looking very appealing to me. I do not have a PC that can run this game, and I don't plan on getting one soon, so the 360 version is what I will stick with and that is more than enough for me. I really am only worried about the 360 version due to the last Mass Effect having a lot of technical problems, like bad framerate and texture loading. But if these problems have been addressed this time around for the 360 version, then the game is going to rock on 360 just as much on PC.

And for the PS3 fanboys, if Microsoft so chose, they could have made this game a pure 360 exclusive. Every publisher has its price, and EA is no different. Look at what happened to Alan Wake. Microsoft has increased the value of the 360 by forcing Alan Wake to be a 360 exclusive. If they wanted they could do the same for Mass Effect 2. And by now it looks like they did that with Halo 3 and Gears of War 2.

#1.9 is right. Saaking is probably using his friends gamer tag or his own on his friends 360. Maybe it's stolen, used here on N4G and the owner doesn't know about it. I could easily get a gamer tag from almost anywhere and then use it here on N4G. If anything he is just a hardcore PS3 fan that secretly enjoys his 360 and would not miss 360 games for the world but still a Sony guy in a major way.

If it can run Crysis and Crysis warhead on High and Very high settings then it will certainly run this game on full settings with no hiccups. So I'm assuming the way Mass Effect 2 brought changes was the way in which Uncharted 2 brought it's changes? Though let me say this now before a mob tries to attack me, I am not comparing both, but rather stating obvious things. As both games in their second iteration have been improved to the point where it gets a perfect. Though being that this one is from Bioware I'd expect as much, especially after their RPG Game of the year.

The reviews so far are saying it brings major changes from the first. Not just on a technical graphic level, but story, direction and flow.
But the only way to find out is to play it ourselves and then judge. Reviews are just reviews and one persons opinion.

Yeah I mainly don't trust reviews to decide if I want a game anymore, it comes more from who made it ( developer ), Cast ( characters ), story, and battle sequence if it has one. Either way mine's paid off so now so don't even have to worry about the "whether or not" I'll but it phase.

Let me elaborate for those who do not understand and perhaps those who do not wish to understand. The same way Uncharted 2 brought about changes from the first made a widely popular game, the same could be said about Mass Effect 2. Let's be honest Mass Effect 1 was a fun game, but had it's fair share of problems, two seems to have remedied that quite a bit. This isn't about some stupid squabble between PC and 360 versions as that entire debate is null to me, more so it's about the game itself which has turned out to be quite exceptional.

There is pop up in ALL GAMES. Even Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 and MGS4 and Bioshock, and Halo 3 and Crysis etc. You will always find issues with games. No game is perfect.
And running ME2 on a PC at 1080p with forced AA and Ansiotropic filtering on 3 monitors is not gimped to me.

Because, when i saw the pictures different last time and also i got already this game on my 360 and PC to see the different, let me tell you.

It look almost the same, but the PC version you can set in a higher resolution, but that the visual look also a little bit the same on both platforms.

Most of those are downloadable games, not full retail releases.

When it comes to full retail releases the PS3 has more subHD games than the 360. Lots of games, like Chronicles of Riddick Dark Athena, Fracture, GTA4, and Dark Sector, are full 720P on the 360 and subHD on the PS3.

It doesn't matter, lot's of developers and the lead IBM engineer for both CPUs have said that they are very close in power. The PS3's CPU can do certain types of processes better than the 360's CPU, but the 360's CPU can also do certain types of processes better. The 360 also has a better GPU and a better unified memory architecture.

All in all the two consoles are pretty close. However, the 360 has the edge because the PS3 requires a lot of effort to just equal the performance that the 360 gets much more quickly and efficiently.

Yeah that does look really amazing. It has a nice photorealistic quality about it. Killzone 2 went for a more stylized look. They both look good in their own ways.

Why are people hating on the PC version of this game. I am guessing that a large number of folks are wishing the PC version didn't exist. All the hate is nonsense... even with a game as splendid as this coming out, some of you are just miserable momma's boys by nature I guess. I will probably get the 360 version sense my PC ain't in the best working order right now (in the process of rebuilding).
