Quantum Theory Box Art Revealed

Following the release of new screenshots and concept art in recent months, Tecmo Koei Europe has today revealed the box art design for the forthcoming Quantum Theory. Set to arrive in Spring 2010, Quantum Theory has regularly been suggested to offer a Japanese perspective of the phenomenally popular Gears of War series.

It was breifly shortened to Quantum, but only for a short while before TKE changed it back to Quantum Theory.

looks nice.. but why 5-6 scars on the face. i really don't get it sometimes.

but i just hope it's not in enclosed space throughout the game because it would be really boring. i wanna see open space. enjoy the view as i kill enemies. or maybe i'm so used to playing games with lots of open space lately (UC2/Demon's Souls).

This game doesn't have a prayer unless it is delayed till summer. This game would probably sell well in June or July when there is literally nothing coming out.

anyway i thought this game was going come out in few months. i'm only interested in it because it looks/plays like GeOW and that's the only game i want to play on 360 (which i don't own).

It's basically gears with lower poly models and relies heavily on the quality of it's textures to make it look good. Some of the level design seems pretty interesting though. It's one I'll pick up in a dry period for games as long as it's really cheap.

Does resemble gears a little bit; I'll have to wait and let a friend buy this before I spend my money :D Kind of game that would have badly implemented controls.

Martial Arts Is GAY? YOu wouldn't know what gay was if it was staring you in the face... Dude, They acknowlegded the fact that there is a huge resemblance and homage to gears, but they said having combo techniques and sylized action in their other Japanese games like Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden would help put some originality in their title. There was nothing Gay about Ninja Gaiden, and their isn't anything Gay about Quantumn Theory, the fact that a girl is one of the main characters Makes this game less Homosexual than say Gears which is just a meatshack with huge enormous steriods induced men.

You are true to a point but there is HOMAGE and RIPOFF. Gears is like a kil.switch/res evil 4 HOMAGE but is different enough to not be a ripoff. Dante's Inferno is a RIPOFF for instance as it is just a reskinned God of War. QT is the same. It is basically Gears of War but with user created skins. Another Example is Bayonetta, a near ripoff of Devil May Cry, Another HOMAGE though would be Splinter Cell being similar to Syphon FIlter/Metal Gear. See the diff now?

simple answer, No! lol!!! its more homage to Indiana Jones. Lara Crofts adventures were never this diverse in combat, and action set pieces and she's way more agile and nimble than he is. She's a gymnastic heroine and Nate is your everyday guy who is very unrefined.

one has a cover system and the other doesn't lara does flips in her combat while getting shot in the chest and face... and platforming is more intecgral in Uncharted than say recent Games in Lara's adventure.

^^ both good franchises but, lara is burnt out and Uncharted is Soo much better. ^^

Gears 2 came out almost two years ago. Anyways wouldn't have bought this game anyway even if they didn't sell out and make it multiplatform.
