GF writes: "Top Indian developer GameShastra has just released three new PSP Mini games onto the PSN, bringing its total number of games available through the PlayStation Network to five. Bringing two titles based on classic Indian strategy games to a global audience, alongside a game which takes players on a trip along America's most famous highway."
TGH Writes: "Route 66 is the famous transcontinental highway in the US spanning 8 states and over 2,000 miles. The game by the same name actually has little to do with the highway other than to tell you interesting facts about it between levels. Route 66 is a find-the-item game for your PSP and PS3 minis line of games. Does the game fall short or does it have the longevity to make it across Route 66 with no car."
VGC writes: "Remember those little kid puzzles that had you searching for certain objects randomly placed throughout a scene? This concept pretty much entails what Route 66 is, a point-and-click puzzle game in which you find random objects at twenty-five different locations on one of the United State's most famous roads, Route 66."
A whole lotta bite-sized offerings can be played on any PSP or your PS3 and downloaded directly from the PlayStation Store. Meant to be simple in approach, Minis are nuggets of pure game design, and accordingly they're usually priced quite a bit cheaper than full-blown games.
