Dutch company Engine Software has developed technology for Nintendo DSi, which can record and interpret movements of the player .
With this technology it is possible to control games on the DSi by tilting the handheld. Engine Software has developed a prototype game called TILT.
Motion Sensitive games were previously not possible on the DSi, because this technology is not standard in the portable console. The movement is recorded by the camera in the DSi, other accessories are not necessary to make the motion-sensing controls possible. "The technology is extremely complicated, but works brilliantly," said Ivo Wubbels of Engine Software. "It does not matter if you are in the light or in the dark, outside or inside; it always works."
Engine Software is currently developing a game for DSiWare, the download service on the DSi, using this new technology. The game comes out later this year. "We are also planning to include this technology in retail games" said Wubbels.
Microsoft is pushing for no "red line" for what games could come to PlayStation, and it all revolves around Satya Nadella and CFO Amy Hood's plans to increase every department's margins.
"The plan to move Xbox games to other platforms is codenamed "Latitude" internally, and I know there's debate and unease at Microsoft about whether or not this is a good idea. More upcoming Microsoft-owned games slated for PlayStation are already being developed. At least for now, they're potentially obvious games you'd most likely expect. And yes, while it's true Microsoft is a prolific publisher on PlayStation already, it has typically revolved around specific franchises like Minecraft. From what I've heard, Microsoft is pushing for no "red line" for what games could come to PlayStation, and it all revolves around Satya Nadella and CFO Amy Hood's mandate to increase every department's margins. "
Yeah, they are going to kill Xbox hardware.
i think it will kill off the xbox brand. windows will be fine.
but there is and would be a chance that xbox might be killed off in the future. if they fail to make the money they put in. imo.

Forza and Starfield next?
In the words of Phil Spencer when he was talking about Nintendo last year
“It's just taking a long time for Microsoft to see that their future exists off of their own hardware"

MSI celebrates the 20th anniversary of Monster Hunter with this unique bundle that features a matching RTX 4060 Ti and game controller.
i bought one for my girlfriend this christmas. I knew about all the new features and a lack of a gba slot, in writing it didn't matter to me but when i had the system in my hands it bothered me quite a bit.
To me it's like, how unfair and just plain rude of nintendo to come out with a system that plays DS games but also does other features that DS & DSlite owners will never be able to take part in.
It's really messed up when I think about it.
The whole argument of, well if you want DSi ware, buy a DSi.
That's BS, plain and simple. I've bought 4 ds's now. 1 fat, which i traded in and bought a ds lite. My original ds lite got a crack in it's screen so i bought a new one & this christmas i bought a DSi for my girlfriend. I refuse to buy one for myself, especially since it doesn't even play gba games. I have gba games I still play. Golden Sun 1&2 & The minish cap.
The DSi has/will split the user base and it's complete BS. Nintendo should have just waited and released an entirely new handheld that included dual cameras.
because i get accused of being a troll here's a picture of my dog, which i obviously took with the DSi.
Nintendo is gonna pull through with innovation hopefully this year.
i need this 360 ps3 wii gen to die hopefully the next handheld gen will take me away.
