GBX writes: "After completing Ratchet & Clank A Crack in Time I went back to take a look at Insomniac's last game just to see if my eyes were deceiving me. Now on their fourth title using the Resistance Engine you might expect A Crack in Time to have taken another leap forward in terms of visual performance. In fact the opposite is true, gone are the gigantic creatures, the impressive draw distances and hordes of on screen enemies from Resistance 2, replaced by something much simpler, much closer to how you remember Ratchet and Clank to have always looked. And it's a bit of a recurring theme, this game feels like something of a B-team effort; smaller is size and less ambitious in execution. But that's not to say it's a bad game. After eight years Insomniac know exactly how to make a Ratchet and Clank title work. If you can suffer through the somewhat stilted story mode, A Crack in Time develops into a massive playground that really plays to the series' strengths."
From Xfire: "For a company with a three-decade-long history in gaming, Sony has done a crappy job at preserving its legacy. "
All the mgs games, all the ape escapes, silent hill 1-4, croc 1 and 2, legend of dragoon, tekken 3,tenshu, bushido blade, vagrant story, okami, ico, crash bash, gt4.

Folklore. It was such a unique and beautiful game. Great soundtrack. I still have my PS3 copy
Infamous 1 & 2 probably will get remaster for PS5/4 at some point as for the others in that article idk
From Xfire: "Insomniac Games first introduced the unlikely duo of Ratchet and Clank back in 2002 on the PlayStation 2. Since then, the series has taken audiences on a journey that has spanned not just an entire galaxy, but multiple dimensions, with its most recent outings."
Best games of the franchise are Up Your Arsenal, A Crack in Time, 2016 Remake and without a doubt the newest one Rift Apart. You simply can’t go wrong with these.
Man what a glorious game series.
Only ones I don't like as much are all 4 one and full frontal assault other than that all games are awesome( even these are good games just not up to the standard of other games in the series)
Nice article, good list, they're all fun & I love this game!
Rift Apart is spectacular.
Insomniac are wizards, I want their next game to be a new Resistance. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.
I'm looking forward to playing Rift Apart then the whole series sometime afterward. Up Your Arsenal is my favourite
The RPCS3 team has announced that all the Ratchet and Clank games that were released exclusively on Playstation 3 can now run on the latest version of RPCS3. RPCS3 is the best Playstation 3 emulator that is currently under development and its incredible progress has really amazed us.
No Quest for booty/ into the Nexus??
Oops from the video both is emulated.
As much as I love this series and wish it to continue on and on and on, it needs a reboot. It needs to do something different and it needs to do it on the next go around. Something ground breaking or revolutionary. The thing is Insomniac seems to think adding a few new weapons and tweaks to old ones is enough to keep gamers interested and it's not.
I thought that the PS3's R&CFTOD needed full on space exploration in an open, sandbox galaxy, but it didn't happen. I thought, well the next one will have it and it didn't have it. The 3rd one, QFB withstanding from the line up, is coming upon us in another year and if it doesn't have it the series needs to be sold off or die off. One or the other.
Insomniac are so talented and I love them to death but they don't innovate. They sit around doing the status quo thing and it isn't working.
