And I bet you this game won't sell a lick on the Gamecu....Wii. And then you'll drag you ass back, with you tail between your legs, to re-release the game, via a download on PSN/XBLA.

MattyF5241d ago

Sales will be decent for what the game is. It won't be a million seller, but it'll sell okay for a fighter on Wii.

Hisiru5241d ago

It's not the big announcement, this character was showed at gamespot but they didn't said it was the announcement.

"Seth Killian, Capcom: That's still a secret and you won't be finding out until a few weeks"

See? "until a few weeks". You are very precipitate and made a mistake on your title, but that's ok.

YATTERMAN???
i thought it was a chick

PlainOldGamer5241d ago

I have to say as a guy who regularly dislikes fighting games this one is looking awesome enough that I'm getting it on day one! People please stop being so negative...

MattyF5240d ago

@Hisura- This was the big announcement they were teasing for the day. They posted on their Twitter a big announcement was happening on GameSpot On the Spot and the character was it.

Drei455240d ago

What's wrong with you haters You get Super Street Fighter IV you had MvC,Blazblue, and er King of Fighters the wii gets one thing and you wish for it to fail.

execution175240d ago

should of been DMC Vergil storyline or something, wouldn't mind doing an epic battle with Mundus being Vergil

Big fail revealed. Great way to start the year off Capcom. This game is going to flop. The online will probably be a joke and the game is unplayable unless your willing to buy an arcade stick or put up with a gamecube controller. I'm sure it'll get good reviews but they picked the WORST system to release this game on.

qface645241d ago (Edited 5241d ago )

clearly you know SOO MUCH where would we be without your insightful information(sarcasm)

kaveti66165241d ago

You didn't need to notate your sarcasm. Only an idiot wouldn't see that as sarcasm.

qface645241d ago

from what i have seen on N4G you would be surprised how many people don't understand sarcasm

DelbertGrady5241d ago

Tastynoni?...Tatsuna?...zzzZZZ zzz

proximately5241d ago

I had already forgotten that they were going to have a big reveal xD . Seems that was good for me as I'm not even slightly annoyed by this, I hope the game is good :-) .

The Wii is 15, so here’s 15 Wii games that deserve Switch ports or sequels

For the Wii’s 15th birthday, here’s a list of 15 Wii games that deserve ports or sequels.

Have you jumped ship from Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite?

Are you one of the understandably many who has sworn off MvCI because of how it's being handled? Or are you still interested in giving it a shot purely on its gameplay?

I absolutely can not get over how bad the art direction is.

DaFeelz2512d ago (Edited 2512d ago )

The art direction is indeed horrendous. I'm switching over to that new DBZ fighter. Which is the 1st time I've ever seen a DBZ game look EXACTLY like the cartoon. The reviews MvC are gonna have to be stellar for me to even consider it. Right now, MvC is a definite maybe but, probably not.

gangsta_red2512d ago

Agreed, I thought the art was bad in SFV, this is beyond that in every way. And the gameplay looks slow to boot.

Not to mention reading all the noob friendly combos Capcom is incorporating into this game. I just don't understand what these guys are doing.

3-4-52511d ago

Yea the Art Direction is enough for me to not want to play it.....as petty as that sounds, I just can't really get into it.

I like the brighter colors and style of the 2D sprites of older fighting games.

King of Fighters 13 was a beautiful modern 2D sprite fighting game that showed it can be down in the modern gaming era and still look good and be appealing.

* Capcom has lost their way in the fighting genre when it comes to art style and character design.

Whoever is in charge over there has poor taste.

Der_Kommandant2512d ago

I can't wait to never play this game ever.

Ethereal2512d ago

I was a bit disappointed with the demo. The art direction is one of the reasons I loved the series. It always looked so awesome to see animated sprites that looked right out of a comic book. Even MVC3 had the comic book appeal. Honestly, I am with everyone else, that DBZ fighter looks amazing...

DELTABOY042512d ago

character models for some of them are not great but the gameplay is solid af..the infiniti gem system is great and at least it has some type of story...but i understand the disappointment..no spiderman/xmen is terrible also

georeo2512d ago

How come they don't have xmen/Spider-Man?

Servbot412512d ago

Spiderman will definitely be DLC, but no X-Men is because Disney is desperately trying to make the X-Men brand less well known so they can (eventually) snag back the movie licenses from Fox. Obviously it's not working, because both Deadpool and Logan are up there with current MCU movies, Logan probably being better than most. If Fox can keep up this quality (which, knowing Fox is always a 50/50 chance) there's no way they'll be getting those rights back for cheap within the next two decades, if not longer. They'd be better off collaborating and making money now, than trying (and failing) to get the rights back before the superhero movie genre dries up.

Injusticewarrior2512d ago

Fox/Sony own the rights. Not marvel/Disney.

Enigma_20992512d ago

Spider-man's not in it?!?!?!

... F*ck this game.

TheOttomatic912512d ago

Jumped ship is going a bit too far but after that demo I am very cautious to see how the final product is. Will wait for feedback before I Purchase said product.

Would have been cool for Capcom to make a sequel for this game on Switch.

FallenAngel19842582d ago

It'd be hard for Capcom to reacquire the Tatsunoku license, and especially to localize a potential sequel
