If the little'un is being a pain as you wander round Sainsbury's and you see Junior Classic Games for a fiver, you could certainly do worse. For a rainy day, it'll provide some entertainment for a limited period of time. However, the repetitive gameplay will probably stop most kids really engaging with it, and the educational value is debatable. A budget purchase only.
Junior Classic Games features thirty activities in several categories including Music, Memory, Observation, Letter and Puzzle with different difficulty levels in order to cater for all abilities and ages. In the Music Games category children learn about timing and rhythm rewarding accuracy with points. For example, the Lemur Dance game requires players to dance alongside an energetic lemur, using the Stylus to touch musical notes in time with the tune as they move down the Touch Screen.
