PS3 Attitude writes: "Love it or loathe it, you can't get away from The X-Factor in the UK. The big "singing" contest in Britian is watched by millions each week with the series finale coming this weekend.
But it turns out Simon Cowell is not satisifed with this huge success and he is focusing more of his attention on the gaming industry."
BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.
Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."
Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.
Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.

They aren't going to give more. We are talking about a company that has rereleased an 13 year old game at least 5 times.
Things are heating up in May a bit with Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, the Paper Mario TTYD remake, and a ton of promising indies. We pick the most interesting May games, from AAA to indie, so you can make sense of everything coming out.

Is that X-Factor Singstar I smell?
interesting but this would be very good if sony did something with X factor possibly a online service to view X factor in HD over the internet would be good for free. this would put playstation more on the mark ether this or a game where u can also watch x factor but play songs and stuff like singstar who knows but this has to be something!
Oh dear gawd, no!
I'm rather proud of the fact that I've never watched X-Factor (or "Britain's Got Talent") at all, EVER. Even the snippets I accidentally stumble across on other programmes have me gagging, but on the other hand any game would probably sell well in this country so why not?
So, what? It's basically a British version of American Idol?
What if people could audition via the PS3? Record a video of yourself singing, and then send it to external judges. They could pick out the really good ones, and take them through to the actual televised competition. So much potential here!
