got a bad feeling about that one

Everything I’ve read on this up to now seems to be quite positive. The only slight criticism I’ve heard in a preview was the player acting as a marine / predator being able to foot stomp an aliens head. They’ve acid for blood so your boot and foot wouldn’t last too long, but then some things within the alien film rules like alien acid blood melting through the deck of ships perhaps need to be bent a little to allow a more acceptable gaming environment to exist within the confines of a FPS game. A FPS game based within the alien film genre, close proximity fighting would spray the alien blood everywhere. If you kept to the rules of the films, well you’d melt, so such things need to be overlooked.

What is probably more important is the tension, fear and all round atmosphere that the films have being successfully recreated in the game, if they get that right then this could be a really good game. I’m looking forward to this come february, I hope the reviews are good and validate my belief in Sega to bring a AAA alien game franchise to this generation of consoles.

Yea, you should be excited not skeptical. It will be good. If you ever played Alien Vs. Predator 2 for the PC back in the day, this update of that will be awesome.

His smiling face makes me want to punch it. For shipping unfinished, bland, and shallow games he should get the absolute opposite of an award.

I was so mad when I bought AVP and it wasn't good. I really liked the demo of Sinper Elite V2 though.
