ok the only reason i'm disappointed is because there is a HUGE difference between the E3 initial video than these screenshots... I know that the E3 video was just CG but still, this is radically different

I never saw the E3 footage or screen shots but this is not impressive at all. I know they are putting a lot of time into the story which is good but I know they can do better than this in the visual department.

If you honestly thought this game was going to have a near CG look then you are ignorant, this is an MMO don't forget, so I'd say the graphics are pretty damn decent.

oh grow up out of the whole games are only good with good visuals bs.
the irony is I only hear this from console owners who have been gifted with the vaseline coated unreal engine.
now us on PC, we can play any game old or new, and we enjoy it.
look at counter strike source, WoW, CS 1.6, COD:UO

I agree for the most part, except some PC owners make fun of console owners who say X console game looks awesome. Yes, we know. Crysis pwns all, but you should see the visual beauty in some of these console games, not just the technical yahoo.

Visual beauty = vistas, waterfalls, large areas, beautiful god rays, etc.

Technical prowess = good textures, blazing framerates, 16x anti-aliasing.

And I'd argue a lot of these console games are just really damn fun.

Yes, but not for the sake of visuals. The Kotor story was left unfinished. That's one major reason to go back to it. Also, I just felt like Bioware did an amazing job with the inventory system, character customization system, and codex system for Kotor 1. Everything was just easier to navigate through, unlike Mass Effect.

It's an MMO that's not even in beta yet. The graphics will improve like they do in any other game during the development process. If you don't like the art style, then that's different, but the graphics aren't crap and they're not what makes a game good.

The Character models don't look like cartoons anymore like in the first screenshots released.The light sabers were huge.
