This week's new video game releases (week of 12/7/09)

This week brings a couple of anticipated releases, just in time for the holidays. For the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, The Saboteur is out. The game comes from Pandemic Studios and is set in Paris during World War II. A big release for Nintendo DS gamers is The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Expect more action-RPG fun as Link, this time taking Zelda along for the adventure. Wii gamers get Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, a re-imagining of the original survival horror game. See what new games are out this week.

EA Sends Classic Titles To Steam

This is a nice collection of classic. EA has opened its vaults and released a series of classic PC games to Steam for the first time ever.

I wish we had a new Command and Conquer.

f you haven't already, consider getting 8-Bit Armies or the new 9-Bit Armies. They're made by some of the same folks from the older C&C, with very similar mechanics; it's just the aesthetics that are completely different.

C&C Red Alert 3 and The Saboteur were two different yet completely unforgettable games to me from a better era of EA.

I grew up in a country where we didnt have the majority of consoles you guys had in the rest of the world. My consoles were a Sega 16, and a Microgenius (which I think was a knock off Nintendo NES), I traveled to UK once as a child and bought a Sega Mortal Kombat game, but it was a Sega Genesis (or whatever it was called), and the damn game wouldnt fit into my console. I resorted to cutting the edges of the cartridge to get it to fit in my desperation (imagine that)! Lol

Needless to say it wouldn't run it.

Damn lol! Our first home console was the Sega Master System! Played the controllers to shambles, the console is still live and kicking though!

I have some of these games but I have played them. Still worth a good amount though and they’re in great condition.
