SFX-360: Platypus Review

At first Platypus may look a little strange at first especially since it's all done in clay, but once you get into the game you'll enjoy the feeling of shooting all that squishy clay to bits. The game is lots of fun especially in multiplayer co-op, and the 8-bit audio may have you humming the game's music well after playing. If your a fan of games like R-Type or any of the other great side-scrolling shmups, then Platypus is a must buy.

Rundlc: Platypus Review

If Platypus looks familiar, it's because you probably played it before. This shooter initially came out through Mumbo Jumbo for the PlayStation Portable and PC three years ago. Since then, Escapist Games has revived it as an Xbox Live Indie release, with upgraded visuals and sound to take advantage of widescreen TVs. Did the project work? For the most part, yes, although the short-lived gameplay may bore you.
