If you have not played any Ratchet & Clank game before, do not start here. While Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time is a brilliant game, it is the third game in a trilogy that features a full story arc. Instead, start off by sampling some of the earlier titles in the franchise. The franchise made the jump to the PlayStation 3 with Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and the downloadable Quest for Booty. Now with A Crack in Time the trilogy is complete, and a possible end to the entire Ratchet & Clank saga could very well be a reality (but don't count on it).
