ONM: "The worst Wii game ever"

Bethesda's futuristic racer, Wheelspin is the "worst Wii game ever", with a score of 11% in Official Nintendo Magazine. That's the lowest rating the mag's ever given to a Wii game, beating previous record holder, Hotel for Dogs, which got a seminal 12%.

"Worst Wii game ever" Wow that's quite an accomplishment considering nearly every game on that system is in contention for it. >.<

Bethesda is an overated developer and Nintendo is a terrible game company so that's why this game sucks.

wrong and wrong:

they are just both hitting a rough patch. But no WAY is bethesda a bad dev, they just not the most solid ones, but FO3 and Elder Scrolls series would say different.
+ bethesda published it, they didn't develop it. Developer was Awsum Play (wtf? =P)
And don't even start w nintendo.

I'm no Wii fan ( i hate it =P) but Nintendo has been around for longer than we've been alive, they are ancient and they may also be hitting a rough patch now,

but show respect for the ones who brought you the NES, SNES, and Gameboy.

Gamefaqs.com first lists Wheelspin as a Snow / Water Racing game, developed by Floating Point and published by Black Legend, which was released in 1995, for the Amiga.

Hmmmm.... Interesting!

Multiplayer.it Review: Wheelspin

Multiplayer.it: From a game designer like Archer MacLean and Bethesda as a publisher, committed to the achievement of a "mature way" for Wii, it was possible to expect great things. The prospect of a cross between a futuristic racer WipEout and F-Zero looked tempting, but when the game was shown to the public are literally rained criticism.

Your Local Guardian: Wheelspin Review

YLG writes: "I like racing games a lot. Some you can get to grips with within seconds, some involve a steep learning curve, while others also allow you to modify your cars as much as you dare.

Wheelspin, for all of its substandard graphics, does not lack a sense of speed.

It does however lack any sort of common sense control system. A sideways controller, twisted one way or the other, makes you steer and the 2 button makes things go blurry."
