Gamervision: "Ever since gamers could first press forward to make an avatar walk, they've wanted to sit on something to do the walking for them. What can I say, we're a lazy breed? Developers, however, have been eager to oblige us, and have been working mounts into games for over 20 years. It has changed, over time, and they've gained more functions, growing from vehicles with blood to much more important allies.
After talking amonst ourselves we've agreed that some stand out, and we feel the need to list them for you, for ourselves, and for them, since the hero's steed is just as important as his sword or shield.
10. Survivor (Left 4 Dead 2)
When you're playing as a survivor, Jockeys are annoying little pests that should be immediately shot before having a chance to jump on your head. As a Jockey in Versus or Scavenge mode, though, this breed of Special Infected seems more humorous and whimsical. It's not easy to land atop the head of an unwitting survivor, and you may have to hop around a few times to before you do it, but once you're there, it's quite amusing to steer the poor human through a puddle of Spitter acid, or into a fire. Those silly survivors won't even know what hit them-or landed on top of them, rather."
Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.
If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.
The first one I played, it was the one that made me fall in love with JRPGs and is still my favorite to this day. A masterpiece
TSA writes: "It wouldn't be a classic Mario game if he didn't blindly follow the instructions of a letter or invitation. We play this Paper Mario remake."
They really put a lot of effort into making this a full on proper remake/remaster. So much more little details that one would have missed when playing the original GC version.
Details regarding the review embargo for Nintendo’s Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door have been revealed.
I don't know if I agree with #1 at all.
