Japanese character Keroro is now starring in an RPG for DS, called Keroro RPG: Kishi to Musha to Densetsu no Kaizoku.
A ridiculous amount of Japanese magazine scans including Trinity Zill O'll Zero, Xenoblade, Tokyo Mono Hara Shi, Inazuma Eleven 3, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2, Etrian Odyssey III, and many more.
Im still interested in Trinity Zill O'll Zero. From the pics it seems like the graphics improved.
Wow, looks like the months after Monster Hunter Tri won't be as dry for me as I thought. Forgot all about most of these games. Need to get a DS (again) in the summer or near Christmas, that way I'll have a bunch of RPGs that I can play whenever there will be a dry one...
In Japan, it's the end of two eras this month, as the final PS2 RPG is shipped as well as the final .hack game.
Such a shame .hack is being killed off. Everyone who played and enjoyed the series always hoped for an eventual online component to play "The World."
The series has a very well developed universe and a great fan following that could only get bigger if they tried to up the ante with a new console release. I hope this development team comes up with some new awesome RPG series to take its place or one day comes back and makes "The World" MMO we all wish existed. :)
well, there was actually a version of the original games where you could play with 2 other people from a lobby and quest in a keyword area. it was called Fragment. didnt sell amazingly in japan and they never ported it over here. but ya...ive been a long time .hack fanboy since the original anime and games aired, i remember waiting for the next releases eagerly for months with the first games. im very sad to see the end of it, i really loved it...maybe some of the stuf that didnt make it over here will get brought over in the future
Last Ranker (PSP), Lufia DS, RPG Maker DS, .hack//Link (PSP), Keroro RPG (DS), Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 (DS), Shiren the Wanderer 4 (DS), Etrian Odyssey III (DS).
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth my two front.....
No really, if Lufia turns out to be crap. I'm gonna scream.
1 and 2 were epic.
I have never expected a handheld console (DS) as the king of JRPGs. Who would have thought....
