IncGamers' Bill Vaughan goes over this week's big MMO news stories:
"Several exciting and noteworthy events occurred in the world of MMO gaming this week. Follow me, dear reader, through the week's big announcements, rumours and revelations which involve Age of Conan, The Secret World, World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online, Star Trek Online and Stargate Worlds."
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.
Danish from eXputer: "Despite Blizzard's attempt to give a fresh new spin to World of Warcraft, some fans still seem to be stuck in the past."
HG writes: "Blizzard is usually pretty bad at keeping secrets, but the company somehow managed to keep this one under wraps until now. Plunderstorm is a special limited-time event that’s basically World of Warcraft’s take on the Battle Royale genre."
Sad about WAR.... Cool with Star Trek :D
Can't see the Stargate MMO ever being released.
The Secret World has LOTS of potential, shame it's been delayed.
Yea that Star Trek MMO is gonna get momentum at a time the franchise on TV is kinda in recession. The movie I hear was good, and just a couple days ago I read a sequel is planned.
