Namco Bandai trademarked Ridge Racer Accelerated in Japan, a sign that the series is coming back.
3DS Tribe looks at the new commercials, trailers and movies as well as the recent official Ridge Racer 3D website to see what's new in the latest Ridge Racer title - from cherry blossoms to muscle cars.
3DS Tribe writes: "Ridge Racer 3DS’s Japanese launch website has recently gone live, firing new material at you in bite-sized chunks. Lots of the links are yet to be filled, hence the slightly bare-bones look at the moment, but there are already a handful of race montages, the Japanese teaser and a bundle of screenshots for you to scrutinise/glance casually at. It’s difficult to get much clarity or establish structural context from the videos, what with current excerpts being what appear to be carefully edited race replays, but we’ll give you our thoughts on what we can actually see."
Namco Bandai has announced that it has released a special edition of Ridge Racer Accelerated specifically made for the iPad. It's out now.
Insidegamer.nl: "Who never to 200 kilometers per hour has slipped by one curve, has not lived." That is the motto of Ridge Racer, in the form of Accelerated also available on the iPhone.
They should make an Ace Combat for PS3.

Namco Bandai stated that they were very disappointed with the sales of ridge racer 6, so there is a good chance of exclusivity. And Namco
gave PS3 owners this year 2 exclusive titles, Katamari and Gundam,
last year Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm.
