When somebody says something is "nerfed" that usually implies that it's been watered down, weakened, and is now missing a pair. The new first-person rail-shooter game released by Electronic Arts for the Nintendo Wii is "nerfed", though not in the way I just explained. Rather, it's a NERF-branded first person shooter geared toward younger male gamers.
Ex: Toys R Us is hosting a two day sale that includes deals and specials on video games that includes all three versions of Halo: Reach, the Nintendo Wii and some ridiculously low prices on Tony Hawk: Ride and DJ Hero. These deals end on September 25 though so if you better grab them quick if you are interested.
Gaming Nexus writes: "This brings us to EA's NERF N-Strike Elite, a hybrid package containing a NERF gun and a Wii game. With my experience in the world of marketing, I can easily imagine the thought process at the table:
"Ok, let's start by defining our brand."
"Really? Because you know we've been cranking these things out under the Nerf brand for quite a few years. Don't we have a pretty solid understanding of the appeal and target segments for the brand?'"
Amazon had discounted Nerf N-Strike Elite bundle for Nintendo Wii to under $40. This is $20 below retail and the lowest price available at this moment by $10. Bundle includes Nerf N-Strike video game and Nerf Switch Shot EX-3 Blaster that's compatible with this and many other shooting games for Nintendo Wii.
