Ultimate Apocalypse: How a Mod Revitalised a Forgotten Classic - GamerTime UK

"This week when I was scrolling through my Steam library for a game to play I was stumped, until I found a mod which brought fresh air to an old classic. The game was the legendary Dawn of War series by Relic. The Dawn of War expansions; Winter Assault, Dark Crusade and Soulstorm along with other stand-alone titles like Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, give the universe the justice it rightly deserved."

This video shows the sad state of retail PC game packaging in India

It’s true that retail games in India are cheap when compared to the rest of the world. But that doesn’t change the fact that they come in embarrassingly cheap and shoddy packaging. To make matters worse, PC games did come in international standard packaging a few years back, but it seems the distributors are heading south with the quality since. Time has not been a friend to quality, contrary to popular belief.
We at iLLGaming unbox 3 games ordered from Flipkart to show you the current situation. Hopefully the distributors pick this up and feel our pain, and introduce better packaging, especially for PC games.
These are the games we ordered:
Splinter Cell: Ultimate Edition (Contains 5 Splinter Cell games ) – Rs. 499
Dawn of War II – Rs. 699
Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising – Rs. 299

I throw out the box the moment I activate the Steam key. Half the time the disc doesn't even read and I have to download the full game from Steam.

I just watched the video and I don't know what he's talking about. That's quality packaging.

This is cheap packaging: http://imageshack.com/a/img...

My original copy of Orange Box looks worse than a $2 pirated DVD from a street vendor.

Is this a real article? Why?

It's more environmentally friendly than plastic cases

PC gaming, Retail? in the same sentence? LMAO!

GentlemenRUs3765d ago

Even though I prefer the feel, look and smell of plastic cases...

This by far is more eco friendly then what we currently have now.

Though, Is it made by recycled paper/cardboard?
