There are plenty of PC role-playing games like Diablo that are as impressive as the original point-and-click hack and slash title. Games like Darkstone, Throne of Darkness and Din's Curse have been innovative, while sticking to traditional RPG whereas RPGs like Loki and Torchlight have been perfect Diablo clones.
Yeah this list (and Diablo III) is completely trumped by Titan Quest. Grim Dawn should be good if it ever happens.
Steam is a great resource for finding games and quickly jumping in and playing. Believe it or not there's plenty of cooperative titles on the service, sometimes it's tough to realize what's what. Thankfully Co-Optimus has compiled a list of most of the co-op games the service has to offer.
