Andriasang writes:
"Microsoft announced today that Trusty Bell Chopin's Dream will be joining the Xbox 360 Platinum Collection budget lineup. The Bandai Namco RPG will get a new low price, and the new packaging to go along with it, on January 8. Pricing is set at 3,800 yen, putting it towards the higher end of Platinum Collection games.
Known as Eternal Sonata overseas, Trusty Bell is set in the dreams of Chopin in the hours before the composer's death. The game features piano work from world renowned Russian pianist Stanislav Stanislavovich Bunin and musical composition from Motoi Sakuraba. A PS3 version was released in September.
Trusty Bell will be joined in January by a few other Platinum Collection titles. As previously announced, Armored Core For Answer and Kingdom Under Fire Circle of Doom will be released on January 8, to be followed on the 15th by Virtua Fighter 5 Live Arena. These will carry a 2,940 yen price."
Some new screenshots of Trusty Belle or Eternal Sonata on Playstation 3 version.
Siliconera writes: "Last year Namco Bandai revealed Trusty Bell: Chopin no Yume (aka Eternal Sonata) would get a PlayStation 3 port with extra content. We don't know if it's coming to North America. We're not even sure when Japan will play with Prince Crescendo in combat. It might be soon, though. Play-Asia just posted a September 18 release date for the Asian version. A few weeks ago Play-Asia leaked Afrika's release date so this could be real. On the other hand, Trusty Bell: Chopin no Yume won't come out until September 18, 2009 in Japan.
Two "typos" or one? You decide."
I say this September since I think it was a year exclusive for Xbox and I it came out Sept/October of last year.
I hope they mean Sep 08, the sooner it comes out in Japan the sooner it'll come here.
Yes, everything else looks pretty and interesting. My only complain is the camera, you can't even zoom in or out. The characters look kind of too far away or too smaill for a 3d game. But this was just demo I played with my Japanese account. I hope they will fix the camera issue, I guess not.
Can't wait to pick this up.
The Demo sold it too me, I'll be buying this day one.
Another great, must buy, 360 game.
ever since i saw this last year I've wanted it, and considering its 30+ hours long seems like a great value, i may make a japanese account to try the demo out!
thats what i love about most japanese rpgs there in 30 40 hours of gameplay if western games like gears of war would be in that rage then they would be reason to justify $ 60 purchase
