If they really wanted to send off Ratchet in an honorable way, they should have done so in a less hodge-podge way. Don't get me wrong, I'm getting this baby for Christmas, but I don't understand the logic behind HAVING to release a Triple A game every year pretty much for bragging rights.

If they really wanted to, they could be just as sucessful as Naughty Dog and sit down and make a great game for 2 years. But instead, they crank out titles annually that are just "Good."

Now, I don't know about you guys, but "good," isn't acceptable from a developer as incredible as Insomniac. They really need to get their priorities straight, and stop rebounding off of their IPs, because their work is getting predictable.

After all, we have all seen what excellent work has come out of Insomniac when they take their time (Resistance: Fall of Man, the game that put the PS3 on the spot.)

Now before anyone bashes this post, I'm a huge fan of both PS3 and Insomniac, so lets not jump conclusions, please. All I'm saying is, if Insomniac actually took their time, this game would have been double the quality it is now.

Dont worry about this score. Game is at least a solid 9 if you are picky. It easily tops Tools of Destruction. Pick the game, it is longer, with a lot of stuff to do, A LOT of fun and visuals are gorgeous. You wont be disappointed.

It's true that the camera sometimes is uncooperative but it's really minor, nothing that justify a -1.5 deduction.

Insomniac actually do have 2 year development cycles.
They work on one game
Then after one year half their team works on another
The first one is finished
Then another one is started
The next one is released

This review reads like every other review I have read for this game. GamingBlot took a collection of other sites review lines and used them for their own. Remember people this is the same awesome website that has brought us the recent article "GB Face-Off: Gears of War vs Uncharted" which compared the two games in graphics and sales and badassness. But forgot to do a comparison of Gameplay or Online features. Once again Gamingbolt guys just please give it up.

I'm trying to figure out why is METACRITIC still ranking Uncharted 2? The score is based off of 94 reviews?????????? That is more than all 360 GAMES? More than Halo 3, more than Gears Of War 1 and 2 more than every 360 game. If you look at Killzone 2 its the same thing! Why is this happening with PS3 exclusives? Someone please explain? This is upsetting.....

i will get disagrees for this but in the picture , ( the one with the tank ) it's not like at all on my system ... i play in 720p and during the demo , this wasn't as detailled ... i call for bullshot ...

I only can say that the camera play an important role. When the camera is panned out as usually is in regular gameplay sections, Ratchet is a lot less detailed. In that screenshot the camera is really close to Ratchet, you can do something similar ingame.

I already play first one and the graphics are stunned and pretty until I play second one as demonstrate. Geez what hell happen to graphics cuz I notice the fur on Ratchet ear not quality as first one and they put less resolution which not impressive me. I wish they do serious graphics on this game. :(

i have beat the game once already , working on my platinum now but im very happy with it , its without a doubt a better game than Tools of Destruction in every possible way and that includes graphics too ( while its not that big jump from Tools of Destruction they are definitely better )

those of you finish "a crack in time" how is it?? I've got far as dr. nerferious space station with RYNO 5 but was stuck jumping over those collapsed station parts tried 15 times seem like the game cheats when I get to 5th collapse part, wanted to beat dr.nerferious.

ok, few of u guys beat the game. would u plz!! explain how?? like I said above you got lawrance firing laser cannon at you plus dr. nerferious shooting some kind of wave ray at you, plus dr. N health is half down you get to the end of the space station then you need to start jumping from one plat form to the other. my problem, guess it was timing from one plat form to other it was always the 5th plat form I would die on. maybe one of you guys can give advice what to do?? maybe level up the RYNO to level 5 and kill dr.nerferious before all the jumping??

Pretty sure the game will force you to jump across those platforms either way. Are you sure you are GUIDING Ratchet? It's not just about timing.
