Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., has announced DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 3 for the Nintendo Wii and DanceDanceRevolution X2 for the Sony PlayStation 2 are both now available nationwide. Featuring new gameplay that delivers physically engaging, innovative and easy-to-pick-up-and-play mechanics, both games boast a bounty of new and enhanced features including improved graphics, new customizations, and all-new game modes. Also, for the first time, Wii users will be able to show off their moves using the Wii Balance Board.
GamingUnion.net: For the hardcore, as long as there is a good third party mat lying around it may hold some value to play. As for newcomers to the series, a Balance Board is highly recommended, otherwise the dance mat may lead to some extreme frustration when playing. Beyond the physical limitations of the game, it's really hard to play this game without thoroughly enjoying a decent amount of the songs in the game, so take a look at the songs featured to see if it is worth it on a personal level.
The Scoop: It's time to put away those plastic guitars and break out that dance pad as Konami brings the latest game from the DDR series to the Nintendo Wii.
The box that Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party 3, the latest DDR title, is packaged in is a fairly compact size for what is included: the Wii Dance Dance Revolution Dance Pad Controller and the game itself. There isn't any extreme excess packaging as sometime happens with game releases that come with things beyond the game, though the Dance Pad Controller does come folded with a piece of white tissue paper. The Dance Pad Controller is the similar to every other dance apparatus associated with DDR.
