Bayonetta release date confirmed for the west

In the week that SEGA of Japan releases the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 action game BAYONETTA, SEGA Europe Ltd. and SEGA of America Inc. can reveal that the perfectly rated and eagerly anticipated third person action title will be the first genuine triple A of 2010. Offering exclusive pre-order items for the western market, BAYONETTA goes on sale in the US on January 5th and across Europe on January 8th 2010.

Since it would be pretty shameful if they released the Sega port/PS3 version in Japan and it's clearly bogged down by a poor port and they improved it for the West.

I really wish they did a better job porting it, I've seen too many comparisons already and I'm pretty ticked off. I think I'll buy this used at a cheap price so the devs. don't get my money, not because my console of choice got an inferior port but because of the fact that devs. are still being lazy with ports, the original team or outsourcing.

The ps3 version got a bad port :/ Nice to see a release for EU just 3 days after US instead of some weeks or even month.

but the game is still pretty good compared to DMC4.

Normal gamers can end it at 10 hours or so, but I saw a screenshot where he finished it at 3hours. :S

You can already import it for the PS3 and play it in English (which is also the best thing to do seeing as how there will be a lot of better games next year that most people will want to play over this anyways).
