"Mammoth" PlayStation Update Due Next Week

Every Thursday the PlayStation Store updates across the globe, bringing specific content to individual regions as well as demos, trailers and downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. This week's European Store update was rather mundane, with an NBA 2K10 demo, some special offers, videos and two dynamic themes. However, Mike Kebby, SCEE PlayStation Store Team member, has promised that next week's update will be far bigger.

Also where the HELL are premium avatars. I would pay fn $50 at this point to get something different and better than the crap they got.

Sorry, i am just upset that everytime an article comes out about huge news in the new updates for the PS3, they always end up as average to nothing important.

taking a throwaway comment and trying to make something of it..
All that will come out of it is some people will start speculating what is coming - which, in the way of the interwebs, will become 'fact' - and then get overly, obsessively disappointed when 'mammoth' turns out to mean twice as much DLC for Hannah Montana...

Seriously, Mike does a good job of responding to the comments about PSN and giving as much feedback as he can. He seems to be already self-censoring himself, do we want him to totally sanitize his comments in case he thinks it might come back to bite him on the bum ?
