Tech-Gaming writes: "Avid anglers seeking a competent fishing game have few options- most titles suffer from a general lack of polish. Although Bass Pro Shops: The Strike is one of the best offerings in recent years, it still suffers from a number of fundamental predicaments. Those undeterred from minor admonishments, should try to land the $80 combo. The hardware helps The Strike capture the tactility of the sport, and elevates the overall feel of the title".
The release date has been revealed for the Championship Editions of Cabela’s: The Hunt and Bass Pro Shops.

GPB writes: "A little while back, we reviewed Bass Pro Shops: The Strike on the Xbox 360. While it wasn't the most memorable fishing experience we've ever had, it was an acceptable digital recreation of the sport, complete with a surprisingly responsive peripheral and plenty of options. Now we come to the Nintendo Wii version, and while we're happy that Pirahna Games found a way to make the motion controls work, it's unfortunate that nothing else does. As a result, you'll want to throw The Strike back before you're even close to done with it."
