GrE writes, "Borderlands is the cell shaded RPG/Shooter hybrid from Gearbox Software that is slated to be hitting store shelves this week. If you haven't been paying attention, Borderlands features both a cooperative campaign and its trademark random weapon generation mechanics. Now, you may wonder if a shooter/RPG hybrid that is set in a wasteland is a little too much like Fallout. This couldn't be further from the truth. In Fallout you are a vault dweller that goes out into the world. In Borderlands you are an off-worlder searching for a vault. That's completely different… right?"
This sounds awesome. This afternoon, Genvid Entertainment announced two, all-new interactive streaming series at San Diego-Comic Con: DC Heroes United and Borderlands EchoVision Live.

TheGamer Writes "I don't think my most controversial video game take should be that controversial, but it is. I'm a video game journalist, so you know I have some bad takes in this broken down serotonin factory I call a brain, but here's one opinion that receives universal pushback: I don't like video game music."
I think the concept of having that many different types of guns is a bit bullsh1t, but the game looks pretty fun.
No, it's not cel-shaded, it's concept art shaded, or some BS like that. Of course it's cel-shaded..
Might be cool, but with Tekken 6 next week and Brutal Legend last week...epic wallet drain!
