Burn 360: NBA Live 10 vs. NBA2k10

For as long as I can remember, NBA 2k has dominated the video game basketball genre. While EA's LIVE team has been making gradual improvements to their title over the past few years, they just haven't been able to capture the game like Visual Concepts and Team 2k do. This season I dismissed LIVE 10 again, and crowned 2k10 the victor before I actually judged the game. Even with its faults I declared 2k10 the game to get for basketball games and after taking a closer look, I still believe that. Yet this year is the closest race there has ever been between the two games. Much improved this year EA's Live 10 just may take a run at the title in the near future.

I'm a fan of sports but not sports video games.

Live had a few good faces but 2k had most of them on point.

i only played both demos (not an nba fan) but 2k10 impressed me a hell of a lot more, in all aspects, than live did.

This site is called burn360. Isn't that what 360s do on their own?

Don't understand? You pay money for a game which are expensive enough and then you lose the fun element.

Sixers Andre Iguodala Takes His Game to the Miami Heat

Since entering the NBA in 2004 after a stellar two seasons at the University of Arizona, Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76’ers) has emerged as the main attraction in Philly. The same fickle fan base that once cheered for Charles Barkley and Allen Iverson is now behind Iguodala as the Sixers take on the Miami Heat’s trio of LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade in the NBA Playoffs. Iguodala is a master at stealing the ball from opponents and has a solid all-around game, which helped turn the Sixers around in just a year and jettisoned them back into the hunt for a championship. Iguodala lists videogames as one of his hobbies, so when he’s not on the real court, he’s likely playing basketball or football on Xbox 360. The NBA star talks about his gaming habits in this exclusive interview.
