Gamedaily writes: "There's no shortage of quality music games from Activision this holiday season. The wonderful Guitar Hero 5 is currently on store shelves, and in early November, you can snag Band Hero, complete with several contemporary tracks and an improved drum set to rock out with. Following both of these acts is Guitar Hero Van Halen, a game set for retail release on December 22nd."
Outside Xbox: "Plenty of achievements are hard work, that's the point. Some games take it too far, though, with gamerscore rewards that definitely aren't worth the enormous effort you have to put in to earn them. Here are the most egregious examples of games having absolutely zero respect for your time."
Game Bosh: It's perhaps not the best of signs when a video game is given away for free long before its original release. It's even worse when just a few months after that actual release, the game is already sitting in the bargain buckets.
PSFocus writes: "It's been a quiet time as Guitar Hero releases, but it starts to come back on stream since the first Guitar Hero for 2010 is now a fact. This time was no official successor to section five, but again a spin-off in the sense that we have seen earlier, ie: Aerosmith and Metallica. This time the band Van Halen in person completely dominated by Guitar Hero and we watched it once or the new section as well as part five, which last year as the last Guitar Hero on the market."
