It takes a lot for a point-and-click adventure game to stand out among the countless others. Memento Mori has great visuals and sounds but really does not have much of anything else. It is best described as a terrible present in nice wrapping paper with a flashy bow from your grandmother. You get excited because the environments look beautiful, but when it comes down to what really counts, the story, it just falls short.
Memento Mori is a beautiful game with a touching story. It’s honestly reminiscent of older and simpler RPGs that relied on a beautiful and simple story.
Despite the end be intriguing, it was not enough to offset the basic puzzles and dialogue as well as simple lack of interaction between the main characters. Unless you are already fans of adventure and played exactly everything good that came out really good medicine or want to sleep, not many reasons to play this.
CalmDownTom says, "Searching around an apartment for a mobile phone charger then moving a bin out the way to find a plug socket to charge an ancient mobile phone whose battery has died. Welcome to the world of international crime! In point and click title Memento Mori, no task is too mundane to be included as an element of gameplay."
