I wonder how a 6-core amd will go up against the i7's considering the i7's hyperthreading should give them a considerable advantage. Unfortunately for AMD i don't think they'll prove much of a threat, especially seeing the prices of i7's these days....i bought by q9450 for $599 a year ago.....i can get an i7 920 for $359.....
and people say technology is getting more expensive...
when the gtx280 came out in aus it was $799 for quite a few months whereas the hd5870 was released at $599
