Following last week's series of fresh details on autumn releases form THQ, Electronic Theatre can today bring you the lowdown on the latest Women's Murder Club title, Women's Murder Club: Games of Passion. Set for release on 6th November 2009, this Nintendo DS exclusive release supports an interesting Nintendo DSi camera feature.

In most cases when a game based on a popular film comes along you know it's going to be less than fantastic.
It seems the same rule can now also be applied to book tie-ins, at least on the Nintendo DS. Recently I was decidedly underwhelmed by the video game of Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders."
About writes: "Women's Murder Club: Games of Passion for the Nintendo DS introduces some strange murders, and some stranger ways of solving them. The gameplay, which features the cast from James Patterson's Women's Murder Club novels, may remind mystery game fans of similar titles, such as Hotel Dusk: Room 215. However, Women's Murder Club isn't nearly as involved as other games in the mystery genre. The story's compelling enough, if not a bit cheesy, but the gameplay is overly simple."
Series fans may get a mild kick out of the latest case for Lindsay and the gang, but few others will find the point of exploring these Crimes of Passion, as there's just not enough of significance to seek out here.

This game is already out. My gf bought it and "beat" it in like an hour. You just find stuff in a picture, sort of like wheres waldo except with dead bodies and lightning bolts.
