EU PlayStation Store Update (8th October 2009)

EU Playstation Blog writes: "Howdy all, I hope you've had a good week!

It's been pretty hectic here since last week's store update (and Media Go store launch), but that's not to say we haven't been busy putting together more content for you this week. We should also be back to normal service regarding update times, but we'll update the post once the stores are live (I believe Jem may even be planning to tweet you all once it's live too).

I think we've carried on the PSP momentum fairly well this week, with a few more minis titles available; Sudoku, Mahjongg Tales, Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam, (and made those released last week available to some additional stores) another batch of PSP games such as Tomb Raider Legend, Daxter, Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman! and Prinny? Can I Really Be the Hero?, as well as a couple of new PSP games releasing on Friday morning (Obscure the Aftermath and NBA Live 10). We have also added some special offers to the PSP Store (and Media Go) and more information on these can be found in the content list below.

Our PS3 content also grows this week, with the addition of two games, Comet Crash and Digger HD, whilst we also finish off the Fallout 3 DLC with the final two packs Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. There is also additional content this week for Red Faction: Guerilla, IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey, Topatoi, LittleBigPlanet, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 , Guitar Hero 5 and Rock Band.

Does any of that appeal to you? What are you going to be planning to download and play this week? What do you want to see coming to the store? Leave your feedback in the comments section and as usual I will respond to those questions that I can, or I'll just leave some random responses (which will get more random as the day goes on) which won't necessarily answer your questions, but may leave a smile upon your face.

Okay, that's enough from me. Take it easy all."

its a link to the playstation forums via the playstation store but its a dead link. Is it something that needs to be downloaded..??

TVippy5342d ago

No demos. That's no good.

Biphter5342d ago

Looks like Sony are going to drip feed them out like the PSone games. I must say I like my new PSP Go, but if I want to play most of my current games I have to pull out my Phatty, which I don't really want to do anymore. Is it so hard to convert the whole back catalogue of PSP games and just dump them out there on the Store? It must be lots of legal mumbo jumbo holding them all up.

in Italy the Broken Steel Dlc for Fallout 3 isn't working...
are there any news about fixes or repost?

Rolling the Dice: Do Modern RPGs Miss the Point of Team-Based Play?

It seems it was long time ago. A bunch of friends spending hours on end playing RPG games, sitting around the table with the box of cold pizza. Excited about the story, listening to the Game Master, they were completely engaged in the worlds only visible to them and their imaginations.

The GM is the programmer, and in MMOs and co-ops, you can play with others. If you want to ONLY use your imagination for the visuals, read a book.

1) Hope they put it on disc this time.
2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.

Demons Souls5098d ago

If so, that's being developed & published by Idea Factory. Compile Heart has nothing to do with it (Thank God for that).

Godmars2905098d ago (Edited 5098d ago )

Thought Compile Heart was one of the companies lending characters.

Was also speaking in general as in regards to a US of Neptune. If these guys are offing a second game, NIS or Atlus, both of whom offer quirkier titles, will put that one out.

@kagon01:
My issue isn't - wholly - with the DL-only option, but the price. The first game should be $30. Maybe $40, and by that I mean $39.99. The only reason its $45 is the 360 disc version which has extras. Nevermind that by all rights its a PS2 game. Something that proabbly could have been done if the devs had the GOW2 engine or tools.

ClownBelt5098d ago

I approve of this god damn message.

Could have gotten my 60 bucks if they just put it on a disc.

Jack-Pyro5098d ago

Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.

Anon73495098d ago

There's no porn just some sexual innuendos but that's it.

Also it is a great game by itself, maybe not graphically but everything else is top tier.

RedDevils5098d ago

so it had some kind of "top tier" porn story jk

ThanatosDMC5098d ago

Yup, it's a decent game. I just hate that a move has to go first before any attack options.
