Imagine all those shooter games with Natal. It's gonna be so awesome.

Gears of war 3 and Halo: Reach will be outstanding and natal will just take it to a whole new level.

EvilCackle5332d ago

I like the idea of a "hybrid" game - using a controller while some secondary movements are handled by Natal - that's been speculated on. Imagine smacking a zombie with the butt of your rifle in Left 4 Dead 3 by swinging your arms.

Why would anyone want to play halo or Geow on natal?

spacetattoo825332d ago

CONKER, KILLER INSTINCT, PERFECT DARK....

All I think would play nice on natal.. but always make it optional...

ArmrdChaos5332d ago

I think they pretty much understand the importance of FPS games for their system. Safe to say that Natal will be an additional (optional) control method and if used at all will be in hybrid mode. Anyone trying to make it out as Halo on the Wii is looking create excuses for bashing purposes. The one thing they will have to address is if Natal makes a function of the game easier...that could create a case of "the haves" and "have nots" online which could mess with competitive play.

the thing natal would bring to FPSs like halo would be that you can wave your arms about to smack an alien??

Yet you bash the sixaxis motion control, developers could have that funcitonality in any FPS on the PS3.

FrankDrebin5331d ago

articles like this. Some guys opinion of what would make a great game or great Natal game.

Honestly, this person knows nothing. Knows nothing about the hardware, nothing about the software.

It is always easiest to say, "that would be cool" than really know if it would even work or not.

Natal is going to suck, period.

how would Crackdown be less likely than Bioshock? Microsoft don't own Bioshock property,to me it'd be way more likely than Bioshock. not saying Crackdown is a good candidate for Natal but just saying..only one i feel will use it is Fable, then again things are changing..?

EvilCackle5332d ago

Yeah, I definitely think games published by Microsoft will be the ones leading the charge on Natal. Beyond that, though, it'll come down to whether a game is suitable for the technology or not.

Scudd5332d ago

No no no, what a terrible idea. I dont want to see Bioshock Resort or Gears of War dumbed down edition. I like being able to lay on my bed and play these games, I got sick of playing with the Wii after about half an hour and Natal looks like i have to make even more effort to do things. Plus with no Natal on the PC, these games could be given terrible ports.

djfullshred5332d ago

lol, out of shape gamers are going to be exhausted playing some of these games.

Fable II - A Fantasy Series at Peak Performance

Fable II launched back in 2008 and remains the best the series has offered. Ahead of the series comeback, it's time to look at the classic.

They gotta bring back those gargoyles!

Dudeson324d ago

I'd love to play it again, this time on pc though. Forever waiting on that pc port.

GaboonViper324d ago

Loved this game, oh and i always saved my dog at the end, hope the new Fable has a animal companion.

got_dam324d ago

Fable 2 was the best inthe series. Peter waaaaaaay over promised with fable 1 and it was good but disappointing. He didn't go crazy eith hype for the second game and it was surprisingly awesome. Then he ran his mouth promoting 3 and it was the worst of the 3.

cthulhucultist323d ago

Funny story: Fable 3 had a funny way of keeping the promises you made in the first half of the game and having enough money to defeat the darkness.

You only had to collect enough money to buy 2 stores in a busy market district. You then raise the prices to maximum and you turn xbox 360 internal clock 99 or more years ahead.

The next time you load the game, all the rents from the 99 years are collected immediately.

But yes I agree that 3 was the weakest of the three.

Demetrius323d ago

I only got to play it once 😩 I'm so tempted to buy a Xbox 360 slim but planning on getting the series x soon since I got a PS5 in February Im ready to get saints row 1&2 back, GTA 4, fable 2, but I also want to play infamous 1&2 again Sony screwed us over with the stream only for saints row 2 and other gems smh
