Aion's Lance Stites has spoken about the current state of the game in a letter to the players, confirming that players on realms with long queues will have a chance to move servers.
Every player will be offered a free transfer with a new transfer service that should be available within the next month.
Discover the immersive world of Aion in 2023, complete with deep crafting, aerial combat, and a unique flying system. Join one of two factions and explore the vast land of Atreia, where new challenges and updates await.
Would this be self promotion, I personally don't care but just wonder.
Gameforge and NCSOFT has just announced that they have launched the 7.2 ("Shadows Over Red Katalam") update for their fantasy MMORPG "AION".
DSOGaming writes: "Gameforge has released a comprehensive update for its fantasy MMORPG AION in Europe. As the press release reads, with the launch of version 7.0, Gameforge unlocks the new region of Dumaha with the PvE instance ‘Stella Development Laboratory’ and provides Artist class players with a second specialization to select."
I'm sure many players will be grateful for this service, but how many will want to leave the server they've been playing on?
Well, that's something. Not sure how players are going to feel about the hassle, though.
that's odd
I haven't ran into a queue or a problem finding a group. I guess I am lucky.
This is probably not necessary, the queues have been dying down. When I started they were 1-2 hours. In the past week I was in one queue that was 4 minutes long. Not sure if I'll keep my subscription, there are too many ps3 games coming out soon to occupy all of my gaming time.
