GamersTemple writes: "I don't think I'll meet with much resistance by stating that the original Kingdom Hearts on the PS2 was a masterpiece of a game. The action RPG, released in 2002, expertly blended great combat, amazing boss fights, a melancholy story and a fantastic presentation into one of the most entertaining games I've ever had the joy of playing. The game was so good, in fact, that I often wish I had never played it, just so I could experience it again for the first time. The off-the-wall idea that blending the universes found in Disney films with the characters from the Final Fantasy series was ludicrous on paper (it STILL sounds weird to me), but Square Enix did such an amazing job that the existing lore from both sources was at times overshadowed by the new creation."
The future could be filled with revived Nintendo DS classics. Hopefully it happens!
My kid yesterday proclaimed he liked the DS more than the Switch because the controls work on the go. Then I asked if he would rather have Monster Hunter Stories 2 on Steam or Switch and he chose Steam. So proud!
VGChartz's Taneli Palola: "With the recent release of Kingdom Hearts III finally heralding the return of the bizarre Disney/Final Fantasy crossover franchise, I figured this would be a good time to look back at the entire series through its music. Overall, we'll be covering a span of almost 17 years, eight games, and several different platforms in this article."
Of all the pointless characters in the series, Kingdom Hearts' Xion is the absolute worst of them all, and she should not have been brought back in Kingdom Hearts III. Here's why.
Might be a controversial opinion but I've always thought Sora after KH1 was a very naive and one dimensional protagonist.
