I just hope the three basic things that can hurt this game for me are not present. Bad frame rate, camera angles and bad controls...

Keyser6212d ago (Edited 6212d ago )

I like where they're going with this game but it still seems like a game to rent instead of a game to drop $60 on.

lil bush6212d ago

well yabe a rent to you, but a buy for me...

cant wait for next month........

Silverwolf6212d ago

with all the content and free roaming you can do on this game. Buying it is the only option for me :).

A game in which demon snakes come out of your body and rip out the hearts of your foes is a very interesting idea! This game better be as awesome as it looks like it could be.

Sounds like a remaster of The Darkness game may be in the works

The CEO of Nightdive Studios has said in a tweet that the game is currently on the list for a modern update.

isarai266d ago

Oh I'm sold already, Nightdive does really solid remasters, and to this day I still love the darkness

Leeroyw266d ago

Mike Patton of Faith No More did the voice too. It was such a great game.

Quetzll266d ago

Had no idea and i absolutely love FNM and Patton. Gonna go back and play this game.

Snookies12266d ago

The Darkness was awesome! Here's hoping a remaster might lead to a new game!

RaidenBlack266d ago

Darkness 1 is coming to PC! .... OMG!

isarai266d ago

That honestly might be the biggest W here. Darkness with RTX would be neat to see

Excellent news. The Darkness is one of my all-time favorite games and the sequel is great too. I've just recently had a great time replaying them on my PS3. Unfortunately it's kinda hard to recommend them these days, because they're stuck on PS3 and 360 so a remaster would certainly be appreciated. Nightdive has been killing it lately.

DefenderOfDoom2266d ago

Awesome, I loved The Darkness made by Starbreeze who a lot them are now developers at Machine Games . Yes , again thank you Nightdive !

Dagexon265d ago

Now I'm hoping they remaster more of starbreeze's games. Namely the chronicles of riddick games

DefenderOfDoom2265d ago

Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay , is one my favorite gaming experience I ever had . Great game .!

ModsDoBetter266d ago

Excellent games.
Recently ran through The Darkness 2 on PS3 again.

I hated the switch in style when it first came out but they're both amazing games.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

MadLad619d ago

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g619d ago (Edited 619d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

gurp19d ago

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
