WoW PTR Forum Cleared - Patch 3.3 Incoming?

The WoW EU PTR Forum has been cleared, which usually indicates that the next patch is due for testing. In this case, it most likely means that patch 3.3, where players will face the Lich King himself, is being readied for player testing.

i quit playing wow when i came to university about 3-4weeks ago, i was in the best guild on my server and was ranked about 280th in the world =D

Um, I kinda hope that it's either not 3.3, or that it's being tested for a looooong time, because if it comes out around Christmas time, and Cataclysm isn't out til next Summer / Autumn, that's a long wait for new stuff :<

2 starting zones a lvl 50 cap never ending PvP and one of the most tedious job systems in MMO History. I now know what Aion is offering, and it aint as (new) as people looking for a change would like to make us think it is. It will find a crowed, there is always people that want to be the underdogs however I`ll stick to WoW, and I am not ashamed of it.

However I do agree that if you are bored in a game not being updated for a while, Aion is worth a shot.

P.S.: Were you also one of the ones that thought Vanguard, Guild Wars, Age of Conan, or Warhammer was going to crush WoW? It wouldn't surprise me.
